MY STORY

I was the first in my immediate family to graduate from college.  I have a bachelor’s in business administration and most recently an MBA.  I have enjoyed sales since I was very young.  When I was nine years old, I would sell home items from catalogs and as a teenager I would sell beauty items through catalogs as well.  I even tried selling clothing at a swap meet for a little while.  I remained in sales settings until I was 21 years old when I began working in office settings.   The combined experience of sales and office gave me the right skills to enter the real estate industry.  I believe selling is not about convincing people to purchase so I can be benefited from it regardless of their gain or loss.  Selling is about providing a service so there is a win-win relationship between the salesperson and the client.

I decided to become a REALTOR® through a mentor.  I obtained my salesperson license in 2005 and my broker’s license in 2010.  Throughout my real estate career, I was blessed to be surrounded by knowledgeable and experienced people who took the time to mentor and influence me.  I enjoy what I do because I have the satisfaction of making a difference in others’ lives.  It is a way of paying back what others have unselfishly offered me.  Additionally, being born from immigrant parents, I am fluent in English and Spanish, which has enabled me to cross over common communication barriers in the industry.  In 2015, I became an independent broker and now have a team serving the Inland Empire and San Gabriel Valley.   I have represented first-time and seasoned buyers purchasing standard, shorts sales and foreclosed homes as well as sellers.  My experience and skills of over 11 years qualify me to represent you in the selling or purchase of your home.

In 2013, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.  As you can imagine, it was a scary and challenging season in my life.  However, through God’s mercy in my life and the support of my family and close friends, I was able to overcome that difficult time.  This experience gave me a different perspective in life and I learned to appreciate the little things that many times we take for granted.  I am thankful for this second opportunity in life and the time I get to enjoy with my husband and my three beautiful children.  There is a Bible verse I have made mine, which is “…God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8, NIV).  This is what encourages me to keep on serving others.  I would be glad to be of service to you!

WHAT I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT

Since my early youth, I have been blessed with people who cared about a brighter future for me—from my local church, to my first “real” job, to my career in real estate.  I still remember that one person who encouraged me to continue my education and not settle for a certification, but instead go for my bachelor’s degree.  He did not know, then, the impact he was having in my life when he would share those articles of successful Latina women.  And, how could I forget those wonderful women from my first-entry job all the way to my career in real estate whom took the time to mentor and advise me.  I have been truly blessed.

Perhaps, this is the reason why I am passionate about education and supporting youth better themselves.   I have volunteered teaching Sunday school class and tutoring at-risk children in our local community.  I have enjoyed sponsoring college students on educational missionary trips.  Also, as a survivor myself, I delight in supporting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  I am also enthusiastic about supporting educational and sports non-profit organizations whom share my same desire—to advance the youth in our communities into a brighter future.

I love to think that my business will directly or indirectly have an impact in our communities whether it is by providing the best possible service to my clients, volunteering my time, or sponsoring a local youth organization.
